Badgers start off the season vs. Akron on August 30. And once again, their OOC schedule makes me throw up in my mouth a little. Akron, Marshall, Fresno State, and Cal Poly? Is it too much to ask to throw a decent team in there? I'm not even looking for a series vs. LSU or anything like that, but is it too much to ask to schedule a team like Arkansas or Kansas State? They do the same lame thing every year, and then always wonder why they're barely in the top ten after running off 8 straight wins--because the first four were against Akron, Bowling Green, Centenal, and St. Lucy's School for the Blind. That being said, after the first three games, we do have a tough little stretch at Michigan then home vs. Ohio State and Penn State. I'll make a Badgers prediction thread when it gets closer to the season. |

I predict they're going to be overrated early on just like last season, start out 3-0 (unless they trip up at Fresno) and then will be "upset" early on in Big Ten play The older I get the less I enjoy college football...it's dumb that a team can play 7-8 of their 12 games at home and against mostly sh*tty competition |

I agree that the system sucks and NCAA football needs an overhaul. Everything from schedule-making to the bowl game system needs to be looked at. And I'm not talking only the BCS games either, because there's nothing worse than watching teams like Memphis play Western Kentucky during the week of Christmas, two "bowl caliber" 6-6 teams that had 4 of their 6 wins at home against teams ranked in the bottom 20 of the country (and a Div 1-AA team thrown in there for good measure). |

Just 45 days to go!! CSC is actually counting down on their website to this game.....umm, why? Miami had a rough year and they have a very young team, BUT.....it is still The U versus a school many ppl didnt even know played football. |
